About the Artist

I was born in a very small town in rural Manitoba, Canada. I started drawing digitally around 2005, at the same time finding out about the furry community online and starting to draw furries alongside my bad anime fanart. My parents always encouraged me to pursue art as a hobby, and not a career, so I never thought to professionally study art or even offer my abilities to others.

Unfortunately, depression had me put my tablet pen down around 2011. Then around a decade later, I decided that I wanted to pick up that tablet pen again... and had to order a new one online because I had just immigrated down to the USA to marry the love of my life and left a lot of stuff behind to move down to Pennsylvania. (It was totally worth it!!!)

Soon after beginning my renewed art journey, I had the amazing opportunity to begin work as a Production and Logistics Manager (read: I make things and ship packages) for a small fashion brand called Puvithel! Inspired by a new world of fashion, art, and community, I picked up sewing, traditional art, and even rug making! Due to this, I have started to pursue creating my own brand to share my alternative fashion and art, Nerdjam Design, based off my usual online username, Nerdjam. With this brand, I hope to bring accessible but cute clothing, accessories, and artwork to everyone!
